Everyone in Davie County can be proud of this achievement! The long-awaited roundabout at Miller’s Restaurant was [...]

Planning for Mocksville’s Future

2023-12-29T10:05:57-05:00

Thomas Jefferson once said that “Good fortune is what happens when opportunity meets with planning.” This is why the Town has invested time, resources, and talent this budget year so we will be well prepared for the opportunities ahead. We are examining infrastructure, equipment, personnel, facility and service delivery levels to determine where we need to strategically invest limited resources. The data and conclusions produced from the studies currently in process will inform our Strategic Plan, Capital Improvement Plan, Succession Plan and annual budget for years to come. The Asset Inventory and Assessment studies for our water and sewer systems are [...]

Jennifer Evens Assumes Role as Mocksville Marketing and Communications Coordinator

2023-10-06T14:20:51-04:00

Jennifer Evens, Mocksville’s new marketing and communications coordinator, has big plans for the town. Bright and early Monday morning, Jennifer Evens, Mocksville’s new Marketing and Communications Coordinator, made her way to her familiar office but found herself in a new chair. Having spent months shadowing her recently retired predecessor, Tami Langdon, Evens is now prepared to hit the ground running in her new role. Mocksville Road Projects

2023-09-14T10:19:52-04:00

Our town and county happens to be in a strategic growth location and has had the benefit of visionary leaders over the last twenty years who made sure the infrastructure, processes and relationships needed for growth were developed. Both Mocksville and Davie County went through an intensive [...]
