Movies in the Park

Who doesn’t love a great movie?

Grab your family and friends and head to Mocksville’s Main Street Park at 192 N. Main Street, for free outdoor movies on select Saturday nights during the summer. These family-friendly movies are sponsored by the Town of Mocksville. A parent or guardian is required to stay with children during the movie.

Take our Movies in the Park Survey here and help make our summer movie nights even better!

Family-Friendly

We only show family-friendly movies but we know that all families are different.  Visit Common Sense Media – an online resource that rates movies, TV shows, books, and more so you can feel good about the entertainment choices you make for your kids. We are including the link here so that parents concerned about the content of movies can determine if this movie is suitable for their children.

A vintage marquee sign displays information about New Movies Every Summer!

Each summer, the Town of Mocksville invites families to enjoy free Movies in the Park at Main Street Park. Each attendee gets a raffle ticket that gives you a chance to win our movie and take it home after the showing.

Downtown merchants get in on the fun too. Each family gets a Golden Ticket that gives you 10% off purchases at participating businesses (subject to change) including:

Grab a deal on snacks for movie night or use it for a purchase anytime during the month.

Bring your blankets and chairs, settle in under the stars, and experience an evening of outdoor cinema and good times with your family!
