Welcome to Rich Park! Kids can enjoy the swings, slides and other updated play equipment. Parents can play too or sit under the covered shelters and enjoy a good book or just relax. Everyone can enjoy a brisk walk or bike ride along the three to four miles of paved trails encircling the park.

Rich Park is also the perfect place for bocce ball, horseshoes, picnics, photography, and birdwatching, or more strenuous activities like baseball, softball, basketball, and volleyball.
The park offers convenient parking, bathroom facilities, and doggie waste stations.
Shelters are available to rent for birthday parties, family reunions or other events.

Rich Park Greenway
A greenway can be defined as a linear park within towns and cities. They often connect different parts of a community; parks, trails, roads, sidewalks, schools and neighborhoods.
They provide a recreational amenity for walking, jogging, biking, and strolling in a natural setting remote from traffic and they promote physical activity and wellness.

Regulations
Park Hours are dawn to dusk – no trespassing after hours
No motorized vehicles or ATVs
Dogs must be on a leash and you must clean up after them
No littering – please place trash in containers located strategically throughout Rich Park

To reserve, you can complete the online form, or download and print this form. Visit or send your payment to Mocksville Town Hall at 171 S. Clement St. to finalize your reservation.
Parks and Grounds
All shelter rentals by Town Residents are reimbursable following inspection when finding the area left clean.
48hr notice is required to rent shelters. Shelters are only available for rent:
- Morning: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- OR Afternoon 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
*Additional $10 for shelter rentals before 10 a.m. & after 7 p.m. The full day fee will be charged for all rentals that include Morning and Afternoon times.

Shelter #1 includes 9 tables, a grill, detached restrooms and is within close distance to playground area.
Rich Park Shelter #2
Shelter # 2 includes 10 tables and restrooms and is located beside the baseball field and across from large playground area.
Rich Park Shelter #4
Shelter # 4 includes 2 tables and is located near the large playground area and is close to restrooms.
Rich Park Shelter #5
Shelter # 5 includes 8 tables, a grill, attached restrooms and is located at the large playground area across the street from Mando Field.
