How to Register Your Team

Send your registration form in right away since we are only accepting a limited number of teams for this year’s race.

The registration deadline is November 3, 2023 – or until the racing team slots are full!

We will not reserve your spot until you have turned in your application.

Sign up your team by emailing your registration form to Town Hall at jtevens@mocksvillenc.gov or mail your registration form to:

Registration Details

The Entry Fee: $30 per team

Payment will only be taken at the Team Captain’s meeting.

The team captain (or a member of your team) must be present at the Team Captain meeting on Tuesday, November 14, at 6:30 p.m. at Mocksville Town Hall, where you will pick up the entry packet and get last-minute details for the day of the event.

Schedule of Events on Race Day – Friday, November 17, 2023

• 5:30 p.m. – Bed Inspection
• 6:00 p.m. – Parade of Beds
• 6:30 p.m. – Race Time

• Tuesday, November 14 – Team Captains Meeting at 6:30 p.m. (one teammate must be present)- Payment Due
• Friday, November 17 – Race Date
• Saturday, November 18 – Rain Date

Download and carefully read your bed design rules, and then complete your form and send it in. The download includes important dates, details about how you must design your racing bed, rider safety tips, and prize information.

Friday, November 17, 2023, at 6 p.m. – Downtown Mocksville on the Square.

Bring your own chair. Visit our local shops and restaurants. There will also be food trucks on-site, and the Boy Scouts will be selling hamburgers and hotdogs in the Horn’s parking lot.
