Summer is for Movies in the Park! Saturday, June 14, at 8:30 p.m., the Town of Mocksville presents The Super Mario Bros. Movie, rated PG with a runtime of 92 minutes. 

Brooklyn plumbers Mario and Luigi are unexpectedly transported to a magical world after being sucked into a mysterious pipe. Separated upon arrival, Mario ends up in the Mushroom Kingdom, while Luigi is captured by the villainous Bowser, who plans to take over the realm and marry Princess Peach.

With the help of Peach, Toad, and Donkey Kong, Mario trains to become a hero and sets off on an adventure to rescue his brother and stop Bowser’s evil plans. Filled with colorful worlds, iconic characters, and nostalgic video game references, the movie is a fun and action-packed journey celebrating the beloved Nintendo franchise.
