Mocksville Halloween 2024
Trick or Treat with the Merchants in Downtown Mocksville
Costumed merchants will treat trick-or-treaters to candy and prizes on Thursday, October 31st, throughout the afternoon and early evening. The Mobile Jukebox will be downtown, playing your favorite spooky tunes.
The Station will feature a Minion Block Party with Minion characters and kid-friendly music from 4-6 p.m. Wear your best (non-scary) costume! Bring your best dance moves! DJ playing your favorites! There will be food trucks onsite for a delicious snack or dinner before trick-or-treating down Main Street.
Mocksville Superhero Sprint
Race into Halloween with the Mocksville Superhero Sprint! Sprinters will take on a short ‘course’ (approximately 50 yards) starting from Main Street Park (192 N. Main St.) and sprinting down the closed section of Main Street toward the residential section. Ages 2-12+ are welcome, and there will be ‘heats’ split across ages for safety! Approximate start time is 5:30 p.m.
Register online HERE. Registrations will be accepted until the start of the event.
Celebrate Halloween with the Residents of North Main Street
Wind your way down North Main Street from 5:30 – 9 p.m. for more fiendish fun! Many homes will be dressed in their Halloween best as cemeteries, ghosts & goblins, witches brew, and more line their paths. Expect bands, DJs, special events, and, of course, candy along the way.

Parking
If you want to come downtown, we welcome you. Please park your vehicle downtown or in the parking lots on side streets. Once the roads are closed, no one (even local residents) will be able to gain access. Our primary focus is to provide a safe place for kids and their families to enjoy Halloween.
Road Closures
Please note that for the safety of the children and their families, sheriff’s deputies will be downtown at 5 p.m. to manage traffic. North Main Street will be closed from Gaither Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Road from 5:30 – 10 p.m. Side roads onto Main Street through this area will also be blocked off.
