A Cherished Tradition in Our Downtown
Holiday cheer was in full swing on Saturday, December 6th, as families and friends filled Main and Depot Streets to celebrate one of Mocksville’s favorite annual traditions—the Hometown Christmas Parade!
Crowds cheered as creative floats rolled by, talented performers marched proudly, and Santa Claus greeted smiling children along the route. The energy downtown was joyful, festive, and full of hometown spirit.
Jeannette Pitts, Mocksville’s director of marketing & community development, shared her appreciation with everyone who helped bring the celebration to life.

“We’re so thankful for our grand marshals, Karen Austin and Barry Rentz, as well as our judges Nicole Blalock, Tami Langdon, and Monica Stone-Huggins,” she said. “Thanks also go to the dedicated volunteers, organizations, parents, and kids who made this year’s parade unforgettable!”

Holiday Fun Continues Across Our Community
While Mocksville hosts the county’s largest Christmas parade, our neighboring towns also celebrate with festive traditions of their own. Together, these events help showcase the warm spirit of the Christmas season throughout Davie County.
Mocksville is grateful to be part of a community that values tradition, togetherness, and holiday cheer. Thank you for celebrating with us—happy holidays!
