Get ready to grab your blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite snacks—Mocksville’s beloved Movies in the Park series is back, and this year’s lineup is better than ever! Thanks to input from the community through a summer movie survey, the Town of Mocksville has compiled a schedule filled with fun, laughter, and heartwarming moments for the entire family.

“We’re excited to unveil this summer’s movie lineup, chosen with help from our community through the summer movie survey,” said Jeannette Pitts, Mocksville’s director of marketing and community development. “Every voice matters, and our goal is to make Movies in the Park something everyone can look forward to and enjoy together.”

2025 Movies in the Park Lineup

June 14 – The Super Mario Bros. Movie
 It’s-a Mario time! Join Mario and Luigi as they journey through the Mushroom Kingdom to stop the villainous Bowser in this animated adventure filled with nostalgia, humor, and action. A perfect pick for gamers and families alike!

July 12 – Inside Out 2
 Step back into the mind of Riley, now a teenager, as new emotions shake things up in Headquarters. This heartwarming Pixar sequel explores the joys of growing up with humor and emotional insight that both kids and adults will appreciate.

August 9 – Despicable Me 4
 Gru, the girls, and the Minions are back! In this hilarious new chapter, expect more crazy inventions, over-the-top villains, and, of course, plenty of Minion mischief. A laugh-out-loud good time for all ages.

September 13 – Aladdin (Animated Classic)
 Magic carpets, genies, and timeless romance! Watch Aladdin’s journey from street rat to prince in this dazzling live-action retelling of the Disney classic, filled with stunning visuals and memorable songs.

Movie Raffle: Watch & Win!

Each attendee will receive a raffle ticket at the beginning of the movie. At the end of the night, one lucky winner will receive the movie shown that evening!

  • Not selected? No worries—your ticket stays in the spinner for future drawings throughout the season!

The Golden Ticket: Shop Local & Save

Every family will also receive one exclusive Golden Ticket per movie night—valid for the rest of that month. This special ticket entitles you to 10% off at participating downtown merchants, either on your entire purchase or a single item (merchant-specific).
