This December, Downtown Mocksville is the perfect destination for festive family fun! Mark your calendar for two heartwarming events on Saturday, December 14, to fill your holiday season with joy. From enchanting visits with Santa to cozy horse-drawn carriage rides, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Meet Santa & Mrs. Claus + Petting Zoo Fun

No Christmas season is complete without a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus! From 2-5 p.m., join the festive fun at Main Street Park to share your Christmas wishes and snap cherished photos with the jolly couple. Don’t forget to stop by the downtown alley, where DJ Barry Rentz and his Mobile Jukebox will be spinning your favorite holiday tunes to keep the festive spirit alive!

Petting Zoo Delight

From 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., bring your holiday cheer to the petting zoo for some hands-on fun with adorable animals. Kids and kids-at-heart will love interacting with furry friends, making this a magical addition to your holiday experience.

Afterward, grab dinner at a delicious downtown restaurant or grab a few unique gifts at the delightful shops while you stick around for the free horse-drawn carriage rides.

Horse & Buggy Rides Through Historic Downtown

“Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh…” Even if there isn’t any snow, you can still enjoy the magic of the season with a FREE horse-drawn carriage ride through the beautifully lit streets of Historic Downtown Mocksville from 6-8 p.m.

The carriage can hold 4-6 people, making it a cozy outing for the whole family. Simply register on-site when you arrive. No need to wait in line—you’ll receive a text alert when it’s your turn to ride! Carriages will depart from West Depot Street near The Foxhole Trading Company, and parking is available at Town Hall.
