The Town of Mocksville has decided to cancel the Daniel Boone Family Festival due to the forecast of severe weather. Celebrating 31 Years as a Tree City! – Mocksville to Hold Arbor Day Celebration on April 19th

The Town of Mocksville, a proud member of the Tree City USA program for 31 years, is gearing up to celebrate Arbor Day 2024 on Friday, April 19th. We invite you to join us at 10 a.m. at Rich Park Shelter 5, 352 Park Drive, Mocksville, where we will be planting a tree to mark this achievement. The Town of Mocksville is hosting its annual Spring Clean-up Day for residents within the town limits on Saturday, April 6th, from 8 a.m. - noon at Rich Park.  Please read the following list of items that will be accepted: Appliances Furniture (indoor and outdoor) Grills Hot Water Heaters Mattresses/Box Spring Rugs Glass Bikes Doors Lumber Metal  These items will not be accepted:  Cement Asphalt Oil Paints Pesticides (The NC Cooperative Extension is sponsoring a Pesticide Disposal Day on May 1st.)
