I had the opportunity to hear a representative from Republic Waste speak at Rotary last week. The theme for Rotary in March is “Water and Sanitation”. Johnny Lambert gave us an update on Davie County Utilities and Chuck Willis, the engineer for the Town of Mocksville, has updated us regarding what is going on with the infrastructure in Mocksville. A mentor of mine used to tell me that no one accomplishes anything on his or her own. We all stand on the shoulders of those who came before us.
