Wilkesboro Street Road Closures 7/20 and 7/21
The Town of Mocksville is continuing construction for a new water line along Wilkesboro and Sofley Streets to replace old water lines.
Please be aware that a portion of Wilkesboro Street will be temporarily closed beginning at 7 am on Tuesday, July 20, and Wednesday, July 21.
Access Information
- Tuesday’s road closure will be located just south of the intersection of Wilkesboro Street and Yadkinville Road.
- On Wednesday, the closure will be located just south of the intersection of Wilkesboro Street and Sofley Street.
Note that on Wednesday, residents will be unable to make a right turn onto Wilkesboro Street from Meroney Street or a left turn onto Wilkesboro from Sofley Street.
Access to all residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. In addition, traffic control devices will be installed for the duration of the work for the safety of vehicular and pedestrian traffic and the safety of the crew in the work zone area.
