On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. the Mocksville Town Board will hold a regularly scheduled public meeting which will include consideration of a proposed contract with the Davie County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) to provide all law enforcement services inside the corporate limits of Mocksville beginning on July 1, 2021. Fire Hydrant Testing Update The Mocksville Fire Department will start fire hydrant testing the first week of May 2021. Testing is necessary twice a year in order to ensure that the hydrants are working properly and that no change in pressure and flow has occurred. Stephanie Shoffner and son, Weston, celebrate the grand opening of Lydia Jaynes with family and friends. “She’s got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty. She’s got whozits and whatzits galore… “ Stephanie Shoffner has opened a home decor, furniture, and gift store in Historic Downtown Mocksville that is fit for a princess.
