North Carolina Introduces COVID-19 County Alert System: Davie County in the Red Zone for Community Spread

Governor Cooper and Dr. Mandy Cohen, secretary of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) have announced a new COVID-19 County Alert System to pinpoint counties with the highest levels of viral spread and to offer specific recommendations to bring numbers down.

This system will provide information about how each county is faring and will help local leaders make decisions about actions to slow the virus’s spread.

The map will be updated every four weeks.
