Mocksville Police Officer Recovers from COVID-19 Exposure

At the end of June, a Mocksville Police Officer reported they had tested positive for COVID-19. The officer recovered at home and followed the quarantine procedures as advised by a medical care provider.

We are pleased that the officer is doing well and no longer has any symptoms of the virus.

The Police Department building was deep cleaned. The Police Department and the Town of Mocksville followed and continues to follow the recommendations from the CDC, the North Carolina Department of Public Health and our local Health Department regarding appropriate precautions to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus to other employees.

During this pandemic, the Mocksville Police Department continues its commitment to provide the highest level of public safety to our community and maintain the health and safety of our employees.
