A Message From the Mayor – Spring 2026

2026-04-06T16:31:38-04:00

The 35th Annual Shamrock Run is in the history books. The race is over, and the medals have all been handed out. We have packed up the tents and put away the signs until next year. Coming together as a community is what living in a “small town” is all about. I love seeing the runners who come out each year and support the non-profits that benefit from the annual run. We had folks here from neighboring counties, some young first-time racers who were nervous about a long road race, and some folks who decided they just needed to get out [...]

One of the most important responsibilities of the Town of Mocksville’s elected officials and staff is providing exceptional, cost-effective services to our community. We recognize that town revenues are your collective dollars, and we treat them with the care and respect they deserve. I am pleased to share upcoming positive changes being implemented for the town’s water and sewer utility. After a recommendation from staff, the Board of Commissioners authorized the purchase and installation of new, wireless read digital water meters. What does this mean for each customer?
